Implementation Lead

 

Description:

The CTMS Implementation Lead at RI-MUHC is a specialist responsible for implementing and optimizing clinical research workflows within the ERP/CTMS system. This role ensures that the Clinical Investigation & Management (CIM) financial and operational processes, including budgeting, Fair Market Value (FMV), invoicing, coverage analysis, and reconciliation, are properly configured, tested, and adopted.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Requirements Gathering (25%)

  • Define CIM requirements for CTMS integration with ERP systems.

  • Translate research workflows into technical specifications for system design.

  • Support ERP specialist during vendor evaluation and RFP processes.

2. System Configuration & Integration (35%)

  • Collaborate with ERP team to configure CTMS modules for FMV-compliant budgeting and coverage analysis-based billing logic.

  • Ensure workflows enforce sponsor vs. standard-of-care cost separation.

  • Validate CTMS-ERP integration for financial and HR processes.

3. Testing & Validation (25%)

  • Design and execute test cases for clinical workflows (patient logs, visit billing, sponsor invoicing).

  • Validate sponsor billing reports against FMV benchmarks and coverage analysis mappings.

  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and document outcomes.

4. Training, SOPs & Adoption (15%)

  • Develop CIM-specific training, SOPs, and user job aids.

  • Deliver training sessions and provide change management support.

  • Monitor KPIs post-implementation to ensure compliance and adoption.


Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Business Analytics, Business Administration, Project Management, or related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in system implementations within clinical research or healthcare.

  • Strong knowledge of CTMS workflows, FMV, coverage analysis, and research billing practices.

  • Familiarity with standard medical coding systems (diagnosis & procedure codes).

  • Experience in ERP or CTMS RFP/vendor processes.

  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

  • Bilingual (English/French) preferred.


Additional Information:

  • Work Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (35 hours/week)

  • Work Site: Glen Site and Montreal General Hospital

  • Status: Full-Time, Temporary (1 year with possibility of extension)

  • Pay Scale: $55,692 – $103,412.40/year
