Position: Humanities Expert

Type: Contract

Compensation: $40–$50/hour

Commitment: 10–20 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Analyze humanities texts for interpretive depth and argumentative structure.
• Synthesize themes across time periods, movements, or cultural contexts.
• Interpret primary sources and connect them to broader historical or philosophical arguments.
• Evaluate causal reasoning in topics such as reform, identity, and power dynamics.
• Provide concise, well-structured written explanations grounded in source material.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving AI model performance.
   

Qualifications

Must-Have

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in History, Philosophy, Cultural Studies, or a related field.
• Proven experience in academic writing, source interpretation, or historical analysis.
• Strong ability to connect abstract concepts with concrete historical examples.
• Excellent writing, reasoning, and analytical skills.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote, detail-oriented setting.
