Description:
AMS is seeking a Principal – HR Generalist (HRBP) to support its growing workforce across the Americas, UK&I, EMEA, and APAC regions. This role is critical in providing strategic HR partnership, operational excellence, and data-driven insights to enhance talent management and people initiatives in a dynamic, matrixed environment.
The Principal HRBP (HR Generalist) acts as a key partner to regional HR Business Partners, enabling AMS to deliver on its business strategy by driving impactful HR solutions, supporting workforce planning, ensuring compliance, and facilitating change initiatives. The role requires an agile and analytical HR professional who thrives in complexity, can collaborate across borders, and champions AMS’s culture of high performance and inclusion.
Key Responsibilities:
Data & Analytics
Collect, analyze, and report HR data to support workforce planning and decision-making.
Deliver regular and ad hoc dashboards, reports, and presentations to HRBPs and business leaders.
Identify HR trends, risks, and opportunities, providing actionable recommendations.
HR Operations & Process Improvement
Support implementation and improvement of HR processes leveraging data and technology.
Ensure accuracy, compliance, and integrity of HR records and reporting.
Assist with HR projects, tracking progress and coordinating execution.
Support to Regional HRBPs
Provide operational and analytical support across the employee lifecycle.
Prepare data and reports for talent reviews, compensation cycles, and organizational changes.
Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) to ensure seamless HR service delivery.
Talent, Compensation & Benefits
Support compensation benchmarking, salary surveys, and benefits administration.
Assist in talent acquisition, onboarding, and enhancing employee experience.
Change & Transformation
Support organizational transformation initiatives with insights, data, and communication.
Act as a trusted advisor during change initiatives, influencing outcomes positively.
Technical Skills Required:
Strong HRIS proficiency for data management and reporting.
Advanced Excel (pivot tables, formulas, charts) and familiarity with Power BI/Tableau for visualization.
Knowledge of HR process automation and compliance standards.
Strong presentation skills using PowerPoint or equivalent.
Experience with collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Slack.
