Pattern Energy Group, a leading independent renewable energy company, is hiring a Health and Safety Program Specialist to join its remote Canadian team. The company develops, constructs, owns, and operates wind, solar, and transmission assets across North and Latin America. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing, improving, and maintaining Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) programs within the organization. This includes working with internal and third-party subject matter experts to ensure regulatory compliance and effective implementation across the business. You will report to the Corporate HSE team and contribute to the continuous enhancement of HSE initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead or support improvements and updates to HSE programs, integrating them into the Corporate HSE Manual

• Coordinate HSE program initiatives with internal and external subject matter experts

• Support development projects and organize health and safety aspects of community engagement events

• Serve as backup administrator for the internal Pattern EHS Tool

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience with professional HSE designation (e.g., CRSP, CSP)

• Strong understanding of HSE legislation applicable in both Canada and the United States

• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in the renewable energy industry

• Proven experience developing and implementing HSE programs

• Skilled in Microsoft Office and effective project management

• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and organizational abilities

Compensation and Benefits:

• Monthly salary ranging from USD 6,583 to USD 8,250
