Description:

VistaVu Solutions, an employee-owned and rapidly growing tech company, is seeking an experienced Head of PMO to lead and oversee the Project Management Office across its business units. With a focus on delivering full lifecycle ERP implementations and transformation projects, VistaVu partners with SAP, Boomi, and AWS to serve mid-market companies across North America. The Head of PMO will be instrumental in establishing a governance framework, ensuring project consistency and quality, developing PMO infrastructure, and mentoring project management teams to scale with the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

PMO Infrastructure Development:

• Build systems and tools for standardized project execution including setup, monitoring, billing, and closeouts.

• Define SOPs for project setup, risk escalation, change requests, meeting cadence, reviews, and resource allocation.

• Ensure continuous improvements based on customer feedback and retrospectives.

• Oversee project billing cycles and ensure accurate and timely invoicing.

• Maintain compliance with internal tools and project standards.

Team Leadership & Mentorship:

• Mentor project managers, ensuring a high standard of project execution.

• Define career development and succession paths within the team.

• Act as an escalation point for project issues.

• Ensure project teams meet billable targets and deliver exceptional client satisfaction.

Client Project Oversight:

• Assign project managers to client projects and ensure adherence to PMO processes.

• Co-lead customer steering committees when required.

• Oversee project health including risk identification, resource capacity, and budget alignment.

• Track and manage change requests and escalate issues when necessary.

• Identify new service areas to support project delivery such as Organizational Change Management (OCM).

Required Experience & Skills:

• Proven experience in setting up a PMO organization from scratch.

• PMP certification is mandatory.

• At least 6 years of project management experience specifically in ERP implementation.

• Demonstrated success in scaling teams and managing large, complex client projects.

• Deep understanding of ERP/accounting systems, project planning, and customer experience metrics like NPS.

• Strong communication, creative thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

• Business planning and backlog management expertise.

• High emotional intelligence, integrity, and a client-focused mindset.
