Description:
Quince is seeking a Head of Merchandising, Home/Accessories – Canada to lead its Canadian merchandising function. This role is pivotal in shaping Quince’s product assortment strategy for the Canadian market while ensuring alignment with the company’s global brand, customer-first values, and value-driven pricing strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead merchandising strategy for the Canadian market, driving product growth and profitability.
Ensure the catalog meets or exceeds Canadian customer expectations and aligns with Quince’s brand values.
Influence and participate in sourcing strategy to secure high-quality, cost-effective, and locally relevant products.
Develop and implement pricing strategies that balance value, competitiveness, and margin goals.
Continuously monitor and analyze sales, margins, and returns to guide product decisions.
Collaborate with sourcing, marketing, and supply chain teams to align on merchandising priorities.
Anticipate Canadian consumer preferences and incorporate trends into the assortment strategy.
Oversee product presentation, assortment planning, and lifecycle management to ensure optimal performance.
Requirements:
12+ years of experience in retail merchandising, ideally within e-commerce, fashion, home, or accessories.
Strong knowledge of the Canadian retail market and consumer dynamics.
Exceptional analytical and financial acumen, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Passion for products, with the ability to merge data insights with instinctive product sense.
Proven expertise in pricing strategy and margin management.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Collaborative approach with cross-functional teams and external partners.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
