Description:

Sage Consulting Group is hiring a Head of IT / Digital Transformation for one of Vietnam's largest and most innovative construction companies. This pivotal leadership position will drive a comprehensive digital overhaul across construction and manufacturing operations—transforming decades-old manual systems into agile, technology-powered workflows. The successful candidate will play a transformative role, reporting directly to the Chairman and joining a high-level task force of modern thinkers.

This role requires relocation to Vietnam and offers an expatriate package for qualified candidates. It is best suited for forward-thinking professionals passionate about technological change, particularly those eager to contribute to Vietnam’s long-term industrial and digital development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a company-wide digital transformation roadmap aligned with operational and strategic goals

• Lead the evaluation and implementation of enterprise platforms (ERP, field productivity tools, project management, procurement systems)

• Serve as a communication bridge between internal teams and external vendors to ensure scalable and user-focused solutions

• Oversee the full lifecycle of digital initiatives, including requirements gathering, vendor selection, implementation, and end-user training

• Lead change management efforts to promote adoption, digital literacy, and operational effectiveness across all business units

• Identify operational inefficiencies and recommend tech-based process optimizations

• Measure and monitor performance using KPIs and ROI metrics; regularly report progress to the executive board

• Cultivate a continuous improvement and innovation mindset across departments

• Stay current on construction technology trends such as BIM, AI, drones, IoT, and evaluate their relevance to the business

Requirements:

• 8 to 15 years of experience in IT transformation, software implementation, or business process improvement

• Fluency or near-fluency in Vietnamese is mandatory

• Willingness and ability to relocate to Vietnam before the end of 2025

• Strong experience leading enterprise software implementation (e.g., ERP, field operations systems)

• Preferred background in construction, engineering, infrastructure, or real estate

• Deep understanding of organizational change management and employee training strategies

• Excellent stakeholder engagement and cross-functional coordination skills

• Proven capability to manage multiple projects and vendors simultaneously

• High analytical proficiency with strong command over data dashboards and performance metrics

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Construction Management, or a related discipline
