The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids), one of the most renowned paediatric healthcare centres globally, is seeking a Head, Division of Immunology & Allergy to lead its world-class team in advancing clinical care, education, and research in paediatric immunology and allergy. This position offers an exceptional opportunity to shape the future of allergy and immunology services and research while collaborating with a highly skilled team of professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the Division of Immunology & Allergy, providing strategic direction and fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
Mentor and support faculty, trainees, allied health professionals, and researchers.
Champion clinical services, translational research, and academic programs.
Align divisional initiatives with the Temerty Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto.
Oversee and expand programs in primary immunodeficiencies, food allergy and anaphylaxis, oral immunotherapy, drug allergy, and complex immune dysregulation syndromes.
Enhance research initiatives, including the Food Allergy and Anaphylaxis Research Program (FAAP).
Qualifications:
MD, MBBS, or equivalent, with certification or eligibility for certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, or comparable qualifications.
Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.
Demonstrated leadership and mentoring expertise with a strong academic and research portfolio.
Proven ability to advance clinical care, research innovation, and educational excellence.
Strong vision for child and youth health.
Compensation and Benefits:
Rank and salary: Associate or Full Professor, based on qualifications and experience.
