Description:

PRT Growing Services Ltd., North America’s largest grower of forest seedlings, is seeking enthusiastic and dependable Seasonal Forest Nursery Workers to join their team for the upcoming fall harvest season. With over 40 years of experience and more than 5 billion seedlings grown, PRT offers a unique opportunity to contribute to reforestation efforts while working in a supportive, safety-conscious environment.

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on, physically active work in both indoor and outdoor settings. You will play a crucial part in preparing millions of seedlings for planting, ensuring they meet quality standards before shipment.

The position runs for approximately 8 weeks (October to December), with potential opportunities for additional work during the 2026 sowing and thinning seasons. Typical work hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform seedling harvesting tasks such as sorting, grading, bundling, and packing

• Maintain seedling quality and handle them with care

• Work efficiently in a fast-paced nursery environment, both indoors and outdoors

• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

Requirements:

• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks
