Description:
As a Technician – Hardware & Software Installation, Maintenance, and Support, you will handle the Electrical and Mechanical installation, testing, and maintenance of our systems across the Americas. This role requires electrical, mechanical and software installation skills, OS familiarity (Windows, Android, Linux), and a proactive approach to troubleshooting and client training.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install and configure hardware and software systems, performing both electrical and mechanical installations as needed.
• Perform maintenance and repair tasks to ensure equipment reliability and optimal performance.
• Train clients on equipment usage, providing clear and effective operational instructions.
• Monitor equipment performance remotely and onsite to identify potential issues and address them proactively.
• Test, debug, and troubleshooting issues in hardware, software, and operating systems, including Windows, Android, and Linux.
• Document configurations, maintenance logs, and training sessions to maintain accurate records.
• Travel throughout North, Central, and South America to provide onsite support and training across the continent.
Required Qualifications:
• Experience: Minimum of 1 years in a technician role, with a strong emphasis on installation, maintenance, and customer support.
• Skills:
o Expertise in both electrical and mechanical installation of hardware systems.
o Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities for hardware, software, and OS-related issues.
o Proficiency in working with Windows, Android, and Linux operating systems for application installation and troubleshooting.
o Experience of providing customer training and technical support.
o Familiarity with remote monitoring systems and diagnostic tools.
• Education: Certification or diploma in Electronics, IT, or a related technical field.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is mandatory. Spanish language skills are highly desirable.
• Travel Readiness: Must have a valid passport and be willing to travel frequently across North, Central, and South America. This role may require on-site support, installations, and customer training, with travel being an essential part of the job.
Preferred Qualifications
• Additional skills: Knowledge of network configurations, bilingual abilities (e.g., Spanish or Portuguese), and adaptability in troubleshooting diverse setups.
• Soft skills: Excellent communication skills, patience in client training, and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
