Hardware Development Lead

Our client, a leading developer and manufacturer of high-performance mixed-signal ICs for global data and video communication companies, seeks an experienced Test Hardware Development Lead. This role focuses on architecting and developing cutting-edge test hardware solutions to meet the performance and quality requirements for engineering and production test systems.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and leading manufacture of high-performance test hardware solutions, including PCB, cabling, fixtures, and interfaces, for testing new products at package or wafer level.

• Participating in new product design meetings to incorporate testability features into IC designs.

• Collaborating with Product and Test Engineering teams to align test hardware solutions with the test coverage plan.

• Leading test hardware planning and review meetings with project stakeholders.

• Conducting performance analysis to continuously improve hardware design.

• Ensuring test hardware solutions endure the demands of full production testing at OSAT (Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test) facilities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

• 10+ years experience in test/evaluation hardware development focused on ATE (Automated Test Equipment) and rack & stack test systems.

• Proficiency in schematic-level design using industry-standard software.

• Experience working with external PCB design and manufacturing services, including providing technical direction and feedback.
