Description:
Our client is seeking an inspiring, highly motivated Graphic Artist. In this position you will be responsible for creating world graphic content in collaboration with the Art Departments and Art Directors. The graphic content you create will be everything from street signs, brands, logos, advertisements, to street art. It’s a great opportunity for a Graphic Artist who possesses a very diverse skillset to contribute to the highest quality AAA game content.
Responsibilities
- Create brand, style and usage guides for graphic content
- Produce textures for use in game
- Mockup concepts/paint overs showing graphic content in context
- Write documentation on your creations and other useful workflows
- Contribute to the Environment Art team during all phases of production. Creation of 3d assets, textures and surfaces, fixing bugs and polishing in-game assets
- Produce high quality artwork to help establish a quality bar for other artists to follow
- Actively accept feedback from the team and collaborate with them
- Offer support to our OS reviewers/managers, and external artists if needed.
- Ability to work well under deadlines; self-motivated and works well in collaborative environment.
Qualifications
- You have extensive knowledge and experience in graphic design
- Ideally experience in game development
- You have a portfolio with examples of high-quality graphic artwork
- You can comfortably create content for use in a game engine
- You are very comfortable with software used in graphic design
- You are comfortable with a modern game engine such as Unreal, Frostbite or Unity
- You possess excellent communication skills
- You work well with deadlines and are self-motivated and directed
- You are happy to write documentation and support team members in their success
- Must include portfolio and resume in submission
