This position plays a vital role in the receiving, cleaning, storage, and shipment of grain products. The role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and adherence to safety standards while performing various operational and maintenance activities to ensure smooth facility operations during the busy grain season.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform inspection activities, including probing and sampling incoming grain trucks.

• Operate grain handling and receiving equipment safely and efficiently during truck dumping and transfer operations.

• Assist with grain storage, cleaning, and packaging activities to maintain product quality.

• Perform housekeeping duties such as bin clean-up, sweeping, and maintaining work areas to ensure cleanliness and safety.

• Follow detailed operational instructions and maintain compliance with all company safety protocols, procedures, and standards.

• Support the team in day-to-day facility operations under close supervision and in coordination with senior operators.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

• Previous experience in grain operations, warehouse, or agricultural facility work is an asset.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

• Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts.

• Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 75 pounds frequently.

• Ability to climb, stoop, or kneel at heights up to 180 feet.

• Work environment includes both indoor and outdoor conditions, with exposure to varying weather, dust, fumes, noise, and uneven surfaces.

• Must adhere to all company safety and health guidelines at all times.
