Description:
This position is responsible for managing the daily activities of a grain facility, including operations, staffing, maintenance, safety, and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily facility operations, equipment maintenance, and general upkeep.
Select, train, develop, and evaluate the performance of the grain worker team.
Monitor and track logistics, flows, and processing of grain to maximize profitability and minimize shrink.
Manage facility safety programs, including leading safety committee meetings, safety training, and exposure & root cause analysis investigations.
Develop annual operating expense and capital budget expense goals.
Ensure food safety policies and procedures are adhered to, especially for food-grade facilities.
Take part in all required food safety and quality-related meetings and training events.
Ensure employees are aware of food safety concerns and requirements.

Minimum Qualifications & Skills:
Post-secondary education preferred.
5-7 years of relevant experience.
