Parsons Corporation, a global leader in infrastructure development and design, is seeking a Grading and Earthworks Superintendent – LRT to join its Critical Infrastructure team in Edmonton, Alberta. The role involves overseeing and managing site-level construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards, quality specifications, and project schedules. This position is pivotal in supporting the successful execution of large-scale transportation infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide daily supervision and coordination of subcontractors, trades, and workers.

• Ensure compliance with construction industry standards and project quality specifications.

• Manage scheduling, coordination, and resolution of conflicts on-site to avoid delays.

• Oversee and enforce safety practices, including hazard assessments, toolbox talks, and incident response protocols.

• Support Project Managers in creating site plans, schedules, and resource forecasts.

• Coordinate with independent testing and inspection teams to verify compliance.

• Maintain detailed daily reports and communicate project progress to Construction Managers.

• Provide leadership in safety and quality control, minimizing deficiencies through proactive supervision.

• Act as a problem-solver on site, anticipating challenges and implementing timely solutions.
