Governance Specialist

 

Description:

We are currently seeking a qualified Governance Specialist to support large-scale integration and transformation initiatives within a complex program environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening governance structures, supporting executive decision-making, managing integration reporting, and ensuring alignment across cross-functional workstreams.

Responsibilities
 

  • Support the implementation and maintenance of governance frameworks, standards, processes, and procedures across integration initiatives.
  • Assist in defining governance forums, escalation pathways, accountability structures, and decision-making processes.
  • Ensure integration activities comply with established governance standards, policies, and controls.
  • Collaborate with Steering Committees and program leadership teams to ensure alignment between organizational disciplines and program objectives.
  • Monitor governance checkpoints, compliance requirements, and process controls throughout program execution.
  • Maintain governance documentation, repositories, process inventories, and program records.
  • Develop and manage executive-level reporting, including dashboards, risk summaries, program status updates, and decision-support materials
  • Provide senior leadership with clear visibility into integration progress, dependencies, risks, and key issues.
  • Coordinate governance committee materials, presentations, and briefing documentation for executive decision forums.
     

Basic Qualifications
 

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business, Management, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in governance, PMO support, integration management, or large-scale transformation programs.
  • Experience working within complex integration, operational modernization, or enterprise transformation environments.
  • Strong understanding of governance frameworks, executive reporting, risk management, and program controls.
  • Proven ability to coordinate with senior stakeholders and support executive decision-making processes.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
