Description:

Deloitte is seeking a highly skilled Incident Response Senior Specialist to join its global technology team. This role serves as the main incident responder, providing expert technical services for cyber security incident investigations and assessing the scope and impact of incidents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare both internal and external communications during cyber incidents.

  • Assist with the collection, preservation, and secure handling of incident evidence.

  • Collaborate with internal clients worldwide to provide recommendations that resolve incidents, reduce impacts, and prevent future occurrences.

  • Ensure physical security of collected data and devices.

  • Maintain thorough documentation throughout the incident lifecycle, including severity assessment and reporting.

  • Draft post-incident reports for senior leadership detailing incident impact, origin, root cause, and remediation.

  • Coordinate shift hand-offs between team members across different locations.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field or equivalent experience.

  • Proven experience in cyber incident response investigations, including containment, eradication, and remediation.

  • Detailed knowledge of incident response services: collection, documentation, preservation, and analysis of evidence.

  • On-call availability for 24x7x365 coverage.

  • Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills with multiple teams and member firms.

  • Experience with drafting reports for senior leadership.

  • Prior experience coordinating shifts and handling international incident response operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional certifications in security management, such as GCFA, GCFE, AWS, Azure, CCSP, or similar credentials.
