Global Supplier Sustainability Manager

Deloitte Canada is seeking a Global Supplier Sustainability Manager (GSSM) to support the integration of sustainability into procurement strategies across category groups, with a focus on carbon emissions reduction and Beyond Value Chain Mitigation (BVCM). Based in Toronto with a hybrid work model, this permanent role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to global sustainability efforts within one of Canada’s top professional services firms.

As part of Deloitte Global’s CoRe team, the GSSM will lead sustainability initiatives in supplier development, stakeholder engagement, contract management, and supplier performance monitoring. This role will require collaboration across geographies and departments, driving change and innovation in how Deloitte manages its global supply chain from a sustainability perspective.

Key Responsibilities:

• Integrate supplier sustainability strategy into procurement operations, contracts, and supplier relationship management.

• Lead stakeholder engagement across assigned procurement category, BVCM, and geographic regions to support carbon emissions reduction and reporting.

• Develop programs to educate suppliers on sustainability practices and track improvement in emissions.

• Support RFP development and supplier selection based on sustainability metrics and contract compliance.

• Conduct complex data analysis and reporting using tools such as Tableau and ERP procurement platforms.

• Collaborate with peers to align global sustainability goals and maintain regional flexibility.

• Mentor junior staff and foster a culture of continuous development within the team.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).

• At least 8 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supplier management.

• Proven expertise in supplier sustainability programs and emissions mitigation strategies.

• Strong skills in data analysis, ERP tools, spend visibility, and presentation platforms.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills to engage senior executives.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary range: CAD 85000 to 156000 annually (equivalent to CAD 7083 to 13000 monthly)
