Description:
We are a leading company in the amusement and arcade industry seeking a skilled and motivated Game Service Technician to join our team. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys travel, technical problem-solving, and working in fast-paced environments including arcades, family entertainment centers, and international trade shows. This is an in-office position requiring regular presence at our Markham headquarters when not traveling.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, set up, and test arcade and amusement machines at customer locations
- Perform on-site diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs (electrical, mechanical, and basic software troubleshooting)
- Travel across the U.S. and internationally for installations, service calls, and support
- Lead and support tradeshow setup and teardown
- Assist with game room layout, installation, and commissioning
- Provide technical training and support to operators and distributors
- Document service reports and maintain clear communication with internal teams
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in arcade, amusement, vending, or similar technical field
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
- Valid passport and ability to travel frequently (U.S. & international)
- Ability to lift and move equipment as required
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently on the road
Assets:
- Mandarin and/or Cantonese language skills
- Experience with coin-operated equipment or family entertainment centers
- Experience supporting trade shows or large-scale equipment installations
