Functional Consultant

Description:

VTRAC Consulting Corporation is seeking an experienced SAP Functional Consultant (Financial domain) to join a dynamic team and act as a key bridge between business analysts, stakeholders, and technical development teams. The role involves analyzing business needs, designing and configuring SAP solutions, and ensuring seamless integration between processes and applications. The ideal candidate will have expertise in SAP CML and FICO, strong SAP configuration knowledge, and the ability to work collaboratively in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to capture, analyze, and translate business requirements into SAP functional specifications.

• Configure SAP modules (CML, Treasury, FICO, or Deposits Management) to support new projects and existing processes.

• Partner with development teams to define and validate technical solutions aligned with functional needs.

• Provide end-to-end support for SAP projects, including scoping, estimation, testing, and documentation.

• Manage production support activities by troubleshooting system issues, identifying root causes, and applying fixes or configuration changes.

• Contribute to testing by designing test cases, supporting UAT, and validating end-to-end business processes.

• Ensure adherence to established SDLC, change management, and project governance standards.

• Document configuration, enhancements, and cross-functional dependencies to maintain system integrity and knowledge sharing.

Skills and Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in functional and business consultancy.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP projects with functional lead responsibilities.

• At least 2 years of experience in SAP CML and FICO.

• Strong background in financial services, ideally with mortgage, loan, or deposit operations experience.

• Excellent knowledge of SAP configuration, standards, and system structures.

• Experience working in Agile project environments.

• Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field with a focus on IT.
