Description:
First National Financial LP, one of Canada’s largest non-bank lenders and the nation’s leading commercial mortgage provider, is currently seeking a Bilingual Fulfillment Analyst – Commercial Funding to join its dynamic Commercial Funding team in Toronto. This position plays a key role in ensuring the efficient processing, coordination, and closing of commercial mortgage transactions while maintaining compliance with company policies and quality standards.
Reporting to the Associate Director & Team Lead, Commercial Funding, the successful candidate will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to manage all aspects of the commercial loan funding process, from setup through to completion. The role requires both technical accuracy and bilingual communication skills to support clients and partners in English and French.
Process progress draw requests and manage full onboarding of commercial loans.
Prepare and maintain paperless files, ensuring proper organization and document tracking.
Review and bookmark Commitment Letters and CMHC Certificates of Insurance.
Draft and complete third-party instructions to accurately reflect loan structures and terms.
Enter data into Optimus, including loan information, insurance details, taxes, and related items.
Coordinate document execution and ensure timely distribution to relevant parties.
Maintain thorough documentation and organization of all loan files.
Support onboarding of deals originated by third parties and ensure smooth workflow transitions.
Prepare templates, checklists, and ensure all pre-funding deliverables are complete.
Participate in special projects or assignments as designated by the Assistant Manager and Manager, Commercial Mortgage Funding.
Post-secondary education (degree preferred).
1–2 years of professional experience in finance or mortgage lending.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and French (bilingualism required).
Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
Analytical thinking with a focus on risk mitigation and accuracy.
Self-motivated individual capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
Team-oriented mindset with flexibility to take on additional tasks as required.
Office-based role within a hybrid work environment.
Regular work hours: 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Occasional high-volume periods with tight deadlines.
Involves extended periods of computer work and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
