Front-end Web Developers

Description:

PartSelect is looking for a Front-End Web Developer for its Dartmouth Crossing office. This fulltime position is a new position creating and maintaining web applications, including PartSelect's main ecommerce platform (developed in-house in ASP.Net). The Web Application Developer will report to the Manager of IT and Development and work closely with the application development team.

Primary Duties:

• Writing HTML / CSS / JavaScript for our custom web sites
• Debugging and testing responsive websites across viewports and browsers
• Optimizing PartSelect's ecommerce system and other web applications
• Maintaining and updating existing systems as well as developing new solutions

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in web development
• Familiarity with responsive web design
• Experience writing standards-compliant HTML / CSS
• Strong analytical skills and an aptitude for learning
• Experience with responsive design implementation an asset but not required
• Design or illustration skills an asset but not required
