Front End Web Developer

Description:

Coalition, Inc., the world’s first Active Insurance provider, is seeking a Front End Web Developer to own all web properties on the Marketing Team. This role is critical for reaching thousands of potential customers daily and enabling them to learn about Coalition’s cybersecurity solutions. You will collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to build user-facing features, activation experiences, and enhance the overall website experience.

You will design, build, and run website-led growth experiments, measure their impact on metrics like revenue, customer growth, retention, and engagement, and ensure the web application is high-performing and scalable. Mentorship will be provided from marketing authorities and engineers, allowing exposure to a wide range of technologies and approaches beyond traditional website development.

Responsibilities include:

• Design and implement highly responsive web-based user interfaces.

• Develop user-facing features using React.js and Next.js.

• Build reusable components and front-end libraries on Contentful.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify user needs and use cases.

• Enhance components for optimal performance across devices and browsers.

• Work with back-end and API developers to improve user experience.

• Write unit tests to improve coverage.

• Architect and build the Next.js application framework.

• Advance standards and practices in web development.

• Act as a bridge between engineering, product, and marketing teams.

Skills & Qualifications:

• 3-5 years experience in full stack web development.

• Expertise in React, Hooks, TypeScript, and Node.js.

• Experience with enterprise-level CMS (Contentful preferred).

• Knowledge of GraphQL, CSS, and preprocessors.

• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools (Webpack, NPM).

• Experience enhancing front-end performance and browser APIs.

• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
