Description:
We are looking for a Web Developer who will be responsible for the front-end development of Superior’s public website. The ideal candidate will be proficient in website development and be able to handle projects end to end cross functionally. This is a newly created position within the Marketing team, which manages and maintains Superior’s corporate website.
This position is eligible to participate in our Hybrid work policy and can be based out of our Mississauga or Cambridge office.
Occasionally the incumbent will work with outside vendors/developers to execute projects, however, most work will be performed in-house residing within this new role.
Responsibilities:
- Be Superior’s subject matter expert on the website’s CMS
- Leverage your expert knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript to enhance the existing website experience, improve upon existing components, and assist in development of new website additions
- Take complete responsibility for quality assurance and website testing
- Analyze, maintain and debug website, components and applications
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and workarounds
- Ensure applications meet web accessibility standards
- Identify improvements to the efficiency of technologies, integrations, processes, and to the overall health and authority of Superior’s website
- Conduct technical requirements analysis, intake brief from various departments, brainstorm internally and architect web solutions and manage the project along the way with the support of the Marketing Manager
- Translate visual UI/UX elements to a functional end product with analytics
- Test form field captures and submission into various integrated platforms
- Create or modify technical specifications, use cases, and workflows
