FP&A Manager - Salary ranges from £30,300 - £56,000 (National) and £45,000 - £65,000 (London)

Location: London, York, Norwich

We have an exciting opportunity available for someone looking to gain experience in Group FP&A and to play a key role in Group-wide performance management across Planning, Forecasting and MI.

The role is suitable for someone with a Finance / Actuarial background, with strong excel and PowerPoint skills, who enjoys working in a dynamic environment with the ability to engage and collaborate with stakeholders across the business.

A bit about the job:

• Group FP&A is responsible for leading PLC performance management through Planning, Forecasting and MI.

• This role will touch on all aspects of performance management at Aviva Group, working as part of a well-established team to deliver outputs and outcomes to the Aviva Executive Committee and the PLC Board.

• Support with the production of the Group Financial Plan, Quarterly Forecasts, Monthly MI and other ad hoc performance reports as required.

• This will involve close collaboration with Business Unit Finance teams, Group External Reporting, Capital, Treasury and Investor Relations.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills

• Robust Insurance technical knowledge with understanding of broader financial metrics preferred

• Works well as part of a team to deliver combined outcomes with the ability to flex support where needed

• Strong risk and control mindset

• Actuarial or accounting qualification (including trainee / part qualified) preferable
