Fleet Support Specialist

Description:

BCAA is seeking an Evolve Fleet Support Specialist to help maintain and manage the micromobility fleet, including E-bikes and E-scooters, across the Greater Vancouver/Lower Mainland/Fraser Valley region. This on-site, hands-on role ensures fleet readiness, safety, and optimal availability for users. The position requires a physically active individual who enjoys working outdoors and can handle dynamic operational tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Relocate Evolve e-Bikes, e-Scooters, and other micromobility devices as instructed.

• Conduct inspections to identify visible damage or malfunctions on devices and helmets.

• Wipe down and maintain cleanliness of fleet, helmets, racks, and infrastructure.

• Swap and charge batteries; replace helmets as needed.

• Reposition fleet to designated parking zones.

• Transport fleet between staging/warehouse facilities, field locations, or repair sites.

• Provide customer support during public interactions.

• Troubleshoot technical issues (GPS errors, connectivity, IoT device problems).

• Support Evo Car Share fleet operations as required.

• Manage inventory, receive parts, and prepare fleet for deployment.

• Review reports, track daily activities, and meet key performance indicators.

• Identify operational inefficiencies and suggest improvements to the Operations Manager.

• Coordinate special projects and perform other administrative or operational tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• Physically active with the ability to lift/move items up to 90+ lbs.

• Comfortable riding E-bikes, E-scooters, and e-cargo bikes.

• Class 5 BC Driver’s License with a clean driving record.

• Superior verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multi-task.

• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office Suite and basic CRM tools.

• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
