Financial Controller

Description:

A growing small-to-medium-sized enterprise in downtown Montreal is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to oversee its financial operations and contribute to its strategic growth. Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage the complete accounting cycle.

• Prepare monthly financial statements and analyze results to provide recommendations for cost management.

• Ensure proper allocation of costs across cost centers.

• Supervise a team of four employees.

• Coordinate budget preparation with department directors.

• Ensure compliance with Canadian accounting standards.

• Handle occasional overtime and various related financial tasks.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

• CPA designation (strong asset).

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.

• Strong autonomy, sense of responsibility, and prioritization skills.

• Knowledge of SAP (asset).
