Description:

Full-time, permanent Associate Veterinarian responsible for delivering high-quality veterinary medical and surgical services across three clinic locations. The role requires medical expertise, client communication, adherence to professional standards, and participation in hospital operations to support quality care and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide veterinary medical and surgical services according to professional standards.

  • Consult with animal owners, diagnose conditions, and implement treatment plans.

  • Perform routine therapeutic procedures, surgeries, and maintain accurate patient records.

  • Supervise and coordinate tasks with support staff.

  • Manage client cases, including billing, follow-ups, and post-operative care.

  • Participate in community and client events as required.

  • Engage in continuing education as approved by the employer.

  • Maintain safety and contribute to a respectful, collaborative work environment.

Qualifications:

  • 4–5 year university degree in veterinary medicine.

  • Completion of national certification examinations or equivalent.

  • Provincial licensing in Ontario (or ability to obtain).
