As a Financial Advisor within the Personal and Business Banking Team, you will develop and grow a dedicated client portfolio by providing exceptional service and tailored financial advice.
Key Responsibilities:
Build strong client relationships and manage a dedicated portfolio by acting as a trusted advisor.
Provide tailored financial planning solutions across day-to-day banking, investments, lending, and estate planning.
Serve as a single point of contact for clients, helping them plan for immediate needs and long-term goals like securing futures, home ownership, and business setup.
Work flexible hours including evenings and weekends, and be open to working at multiple banking centres within reasonable travel distance.
Focus on client engagement by connecting personally and making every interaction meaningful.
Develop and execute business development strategies, leveraging CIBC’s credit and investment products to meet client needs.
Increase brand awareness by participating in community events and marketing outreach to grow your network.
Use your relationship-building and networking skills to generate new business and foster client loyalty.
Candidate Profile:
1–3 years of experience delivering financial advice and establishing client relationships while meeting targets.
Certified professional credentials: CIRO-MFD licensing, Canadian Securities Course (CSC), Canadian Investment Funds Course (CIFC), or Investment Funds in Canada Course (IFC).
For Quebec candidates: AMF licensing, Registered Retirement Consultant (RRC), with relevant supporting courses (e.g., CSI/ICB Investment and Taxation Fundamentals, Legal & Ethical Aspects of Financial Planning).
Passionate about client service, relationship-building, and delivering personalized financial solutions.
