Finance Business Partner

Description:

You’re responsible for supporting various budget owners and/or executives from a planning and reporting perspective. You will report to the Manager (FP&A) to deliver the firm’s monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting, period-end, and business-analysis functions. This is a perfect position for a FP&A Manager or an experienced Senior Manager with a leadership background in financial modelling at a tech company.

Main responsibilities:

• Acting as the go-to resource for various budget owners and executives
• Help senior leadership with staying on budget by reviewing their finances, building tools and reports that’ll help to manage their departments
• Assisting in preparing and improving reports and presentations to the Board and senior members
• Prepare and analyze all monthly reporting output, as well as monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting files with senior management
• Assist with audit requests
• Maintaining and building internal and external relationships
• Collaborate with other team members and executives

Qualifications, Skills & Personal Attributes

• Bachelor’s degree or College diploma in Accounting, Business, Commerce, or a related field
• Experience with budgeting and financial modelling
• Strong financial analysis skills and a penchant for critical thinking
• Ability to effectively apply accounting knowledge
• Excellent knowledge of Excel
• Solid multi-task and project management skills
• Previous experience working within the hospital & healthcare industry is an asset
