The Finance and Operations Client Director will lead client engagements within the Finance & Operations (F&O) practice, providing expert functional financial advice and managing project delivery. This role includes expanding business development efforts, coaching a diverse consulting team, contributing thought leadership, and ensuring best practices across projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage Finance & Operations client engagements, acting as project lead and financial expert

• Advise clients on business processes like financial close, reporting, FP&A, forecasting, budgeting, tax, treasury, and strategic planning

• Build and coach the F&O consulting team with focus on client success

• Implement best practices and deliver holistic client solutions

• Support business development by preparing proposals, client presentations, and collaborating with channel partners

• Lead demos and proof-of-concept projects for clients evaluating new technology solutions

• Manage multi-workstream project teams with client personnel and Spaulding Ridge consultants

• Apply creative problem solving and technology to business challenges

• Contribute to practice development through thought leadership, training, and process improvements

• Recruit, mentor, and cultivate strong client and partner relationships

• Travel up to 50% of the time

Qualifications:

• Minimum 8 years’ experience in financial management consulting or corporate finance

• Strong communication skills, able to influence executives and stakeholders

• Experience translating customer needs into dynamic, value-driven solutions

• Background in change management and business process mapping is a plus

• Expertise in financial modeling and analysis

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, MIS, Business, or equivalent professional experience
