Field Support Technician

 

Description:

Raas Infotek is looking for a Deskside Support Analyst to deliver high-quality technical assistance for end users, including C-level executives, and provide on-site “hands and feet” support for data center operations. This role requires expertise in troubleshooting Windows/Mac systems, hardware support, and ITSM best practices, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, peripherals, mobile devices, and network connectivity

  • Provide white-glove support to executives and VIP users

  • Perform staging, imaging, asset tagging, and stockroom organization

  • Support data center tasks: racking, cabling, equipment swaps, physical troubleshooting

  • Log incidents/requests in ServiceNow and document solutions

  • Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve escalated issues

  • Assist with onboarding/offboarding and hardware provisioning

  • Travel between offices/data centers as needed

Qualifications:

  • 2–4 years of IT support experience

  • Strong Windows 10/11 and Mac OS troubleshooting skills

  • Familiarity with VPN, remote access, and connectivity troubleshooting

  • Hands-on data center experience (racking, cabling, asset management)

  • Proficiency with ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Valid driver’s license; ability to travel
