Description:

NCR Atleos, a global leader in financial technology solutions with headquarters in Atlanta and a 20,000-strong workforce, is currently seeking a Field Service Technician II for its operations in Mississauga, Ontario. This remote, full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to be on the frontlines of customer service, supporting major institutions such as banks, retailers, and airports with mission-critical technology.

As a Field Service Technician, you will be the first line of support for on-site client service calls. You’ll handle technical problems, install and maintain hardware, manage networks, and maintain high-value systems like ATMs and self-checkout terminals. This role is ideal for individuals with strong hands-on technical skills and a passion for customer support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform on-site servicing of electromechanical equipment such as ATMs and self-checkout systems.

  • Handle hardware maintenance, multi-vendor support, installations, and basic network troubleshooting.

  • Work on equipment including servers, large system printers, peripherals, and imaging systems.

  • Maintain service level agreements (SLAs) and build strong working relationships with clients.

  • Accurately log service activities, customer communications, and expenses.

  • Participate in system overhauls, modular swaps, unit replacements, and proactive maintenance.

  • Represent the NCR Atleos brand with professionalism and exceptional customer care.

  • Detail-oriented and highly organized with strong documentation practices.

  • Independent and responsible with the ability to work under minimal supervision.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Valid Canadian provincial driver’s license (not a learner permit) with a clean driving record.

  • Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.

  • Valid passport (for travel to the U.S. for training).

  • Physically capable of lifting equipment (up to 50 lbs), prolonged driving, and on-site servicing activities.

  • Technical certifications such as A+, networking skills (CISCO), and basic electronic experience.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Windows OS.

  • Knowledge of system architecture, databases, and systems/network management is an asset.

  • Flexibility to work overtime, evenings, weekends, and on-call rotations.

Note:
This position is dispatched daily and involves servicing customer sites and local NCR Atleos offices. Employment offers are conditional upon passing relevant background screenings.
