Description:
Otis Elevator Company, the global leader in elevator and escalator manufacturing, installation, and service, is looking for a highly motivated Field Project Manager to join their team in Québec, Canada. This role is perfect for an individual passionate about overseeing new equipment projects while ensuring efficiency, cost control, and customer satisfaction.
As a Field Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the flawless execution of each project — from contract award to completion — meeting all technical, safety, and regulatory standards. You’ll coordinate with multiple stakeholders, manage budgets, monitor schedules, and oversee project quality, ensuring each assignment aligns with Otis’ core values: Safety, Ethics, and Quality.
Manage and coordinate all contract activities from project initiation to completion.
Ensure all projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and according to quality and safety standards.
Communicate effectively with clients, general contractors, building managers, architects, designers, and regulatory authorities.
Collaborate closely with internal sales teams, superintendents, and senior leadership to deliver successful outcomes.
Handle construction process duties such as billing, payments, RFIs, and change order management.
Accurately interpret and analyze contractual documents, modifications, and cost changes.
Provide project progress reports and maintain compliance with scope and contractual requirements.
Assist in developing contingencies and estimating strategies for project planning.
Minimum 2 years of project management and/or construction experience.
Proficiency in cost estimation, scheduling, and contract administration.
Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Team-oriented and adaptable in fast-paced environments.
Self-driven with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and related project management software.
High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
