Description:
BioScript Solutions, a Canadian leader in specialty healthcare services, is currently seeking a committed and compassionate Field Nurse Case Manager to support its NavieGo patient support program in Montreal, QC. This full-time, temporary (12-month) position is focused on facilitating patient access to treatment by managing all aspects of the reimbursement journey and care coordination.
The Field Nurse Case Manager serves as the central point of contact between patients, physicians, pharmacies, insurance companies, and public funding programs. You will play a pivotal role in navigating drug coverage processes and ensuring seamless communication and coordination across the healthcare spectrum to support patient treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the complete coordination of patient journeys, ensuring timely access to prescribed therapies.
Act as the primary liaison between healthcare providers and NavieGo to manage patient enrollment and documentation.
Establish and maintain trusted relationships with clinics, physicians, and key healthcare partners.
Travel occasionally for on-site visits to clinics and providers.
Coordinate drug coverage processes, including preparation and submission of all necessary paperwork to public and private insurers.
Ensure proper case documentation and communication across all stakeholders.
Schedule clinic appointments, arrange drug deliveries, and ensure adherence to all relevant timelines.
Leverage a solid understanding of public/private funding mechanisms to maximize patient access.
Collaborate with pharmacies once funding approval is secured to initiate medication delivery.
Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to resolve patient and case-related issues promptly.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of healthcare reimbursement policies and payer requirements.
Be available for rotating shifts, Monday through Friday, between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM EST to support various regions of Canada.
Qualifications:
Bilingual proficiency (English/French) is mandatory due to the regional and patient base.
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Quebec or eligible province is required.
Experience in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or insurance is considered an asset.
Minimum 2 years of experience in client service or patient reimbursement coordination.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional, courteous demeanor.
Strong time management, multitasking, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team culture.
