Facility Technician

Description:

TES The Employment Solution, on behalf of a global leader in food manufacturing, is seeking a skilled Facility Technician to support the Facility Engineer in the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HVAC and utility systems. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular maintenance activities, including replacing air filters, vacuuming internal units, and performing visual inspections on belts, bearings, filters, drains, control valves, coils, and leak detection.

• Adjust dampers and perform coil cleaning on AHU (Air Handling Unit) coils and grills.

• Replace and align belts; replace bearings on AHU and circulation pumps.

• Inspect and lubricate motors and pumps to ensure optimal performance.

• Replace mechanical seals as needed and perform utility/facility maintenance across floors, roofs, and HVAC systems.

• Top-up glycol systems and provide assistance in material handling when required.

• Replace pumps, steam traps, pressure gauges, and other related facility components.

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, maintenance practices, and facility operations.

• Familiarity with instruments such as velometers and manometers (an asset).

• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance.

• Ability to work flexibly on day and afternoon shifts as required.
