Description:
Interior Community Services (ICS) is seeking an inspiring and strategic Executive Officer (EO) to lead the organization into its next phase of impact and growth. ICS is dedicated to enriching lives and strengthening communities by providing integrated, community-based support for individuals and families across all life stages.
As an Executive Officer, you will be responsible for collaborating with the Board to define and execute ICS’s strategic vision, overseeing operations, financial planning, risk management, and compliance. You will lead senior managers to ensure high-quality service delivery while fostering a culture of innovation, inclusion, and continuous improvement. Additionally, the role includes representing ICS in engagements with funders, government agencies, and community partners.
Develop and execute ICS’s strategic plan in collaboration with the Board of Directors.
Oversee operational planning, financial management, budgeting, compliance, and risk mitigation.
Lead senior managers, ensuring service quality and alignment with ICS’s mission.
Represent ICS in communications with stakeholders, government agencies, and funding organizations.
Cultivate a work culture centered on equity, inclusion, and social impact.
Respond to after-hours emergencies on a rotational basis as part of the on-call team.
Degree in Social Work, Business, Public Administration, or a related field.
7+ years of senior leadership experience, preferably within the nonprofit or social services sector.
Strong expertise in financial management, HR practices, risk oversight, and policy development.
Proven success in working with boards, managing diverse teams, and leading change.
A Class 5 driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle with business insurance.
Strong communication, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Competitive salary: 12,154 – 13,563 per month (full range up to 13,940 with future progression).
