The Bridge Youth & Family Services Society, a respected nonprofit organization serving the Central Okanagan region since 1969, offers innovative services to children, youth, families, and provides a continuum of Recovery and Addiction Services. With a strong commitment to addressing the harms of colonization and fostering safer, equitable work and care environments, the organization is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors.

The Executive Director role arises from the retirement of the current leader after seven impactful years. This is a unique leadership opportunity to advance the organization’s mission and strategic priorities, including shaping the 2026–2030 Strategic Plan and executing annual operational plans.

Reporting directly to the Board, the Executive Director will:

• Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction aligned with the organization’s mission and values

• Oversee operational priorities and ensure fiscal responsibility, risk mitigation, and policy implementation

• Foster a supportive, inclusive environment for staff, volunteers, and service recipients

• Strengthen community relationships with government officials, funders, and partner organizations

• Lead fundraising initiatives and promote awareness of the organization’s services and impact

• Guide human resources efforts focused on recruiting, retaining, and developing a diverse and qualified workforce

• Uphold the organization’s strong reputation and integrity through effective governance and management
