As a result of the PSAC Workforce and Availability Analysis and in accordance with the PSAC Employment Equity Plan, the successful candidate for this appointment will be a qualified person from one of the following groups: Women.

PURPOSE OF POSITION

The position is responsible for overseeing the staff contact directory and providing telephone reception and email enquiries service for the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC).

QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge

  • Knowledge of the political and operational structure of the PSAC.

Abilities

  • Proficiency in the use of a variety of software and database/CRM, such as the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) Microsoft Teams and Drupal as other main online tools as well as the internet.
  • Ability to organize, multi-task and prioritize.
  • Ability to operate office equipment, such as a fax, photocopier, telephone answering equipment to answer phone and email enquires and general office functions.
  • Second language skills as per the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) level indicated above.
