Cactus Communications, through its flagship brand Editage, is seeking skilled Korean <> English Translators with expertise in Public Health, Geriatrics, Nursing, and Occupational Health. Translators will work on academic manuscripts, combining language proficiency and subject-matter knowledge to enable global researchers to publish in prestigious journals. The role involves translating research papers between Korean and English while maintaining scientific accuracy and clarity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate academic manuscripts from Korean to English or vice versa.

• Ensure translations are accurate, culturally appropriate, and meet the standards of academic journals.

• Collaborate with researchers to clarify technical or subject-specific content.

• Maintain confidentiality and integrity of scientific manuscripts.

Key Skills and Abilities:

• Strong proficiency in Korean and English languages.

• Expertise in Public Health, Geriatrics, Nursing, or Occupational Health terminology.

• Ability to accurately translate complex scientific concepts.

• Attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.

Qualifications:
Applicants must meet any one of the following:

• Degree in Translation or equivalent with significant translation training from a recognized institution.

• Graduate degree (or higher) in another field plus 2 years of professional translation experience.

• Five years of comprehensive professional translation experience.
