ICUC is a fully remote team of creatives, strategists, content creators, and social media managers helping brands deliver authentic, human-centered digital experiences.

As a Social Media Content Specialist (English + Japanese), you will moderate and engage in online conversations across clients’ social channels, ensuring communities remain safe, welcoming, and aligned with brand values. You’ll craft thoughtful, on-brand responses and create engaging content that connects with global audiences.

This role is open to permanent residents of Canada and requires flexibility to work across a rotating schedule, including weekends, to support ICUC’s global clients.

Work Schedule:

• Days: 8 AM – 4 PM CST

• Evenings: 4 PM – 12 AM CST

• Overnights: 12 AM – 8 AM CST

• Must be available for a mix of shifts, including weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Moderate and respond to comments across clients’ social channels using brand-specific tone and voice.

• Write thoughtful, engaging social media content to drive community interaction.

• Maintain safe and respectful online communities aligned with client policies.

• Identify and escalate trends, issues, or insights to internal teams.

• Deeply understand each client’s brand strategy, tone, and audience to deliver authentic engagement.

Qualifications:

• Native-level fluency in English and Japanese.

• Excellent written communication skills (grammar, clarity, and tone) in both languages.

• Legally eligible to work in Canada.

• Flexible availability for any shift, including weekends.

• Professional experience managing or moderating social media platforms.

• Ability to adapt writing style to different brand voices and audiences.

• Familiarity with all major social media platforms.

• Organized, reliable, and customer-service oriented.

• Stable, high-speed internet connection with no data restrictions.

• Active Facebook account required.
