Description:
The Emerging Tech Analyst plays a critical role in identifying, evaluating, and supporting the adoption of new and evolving technologies that enhance McCain’s AI capabilities and accelerate use-case delivery. This role focuses on researching emerging trends across AI technologies, conducting structured evaluations, supporting pilots, and translating innovative concepts into scalable, value-driven solutions within McCain’s AI ecosystem.
What You’ll Be Doing.
- Monitor and research emerging technologies across AI, agentic systems, and the McCain technology stack
- Evaluate business impact, technical fit, risk, and readiness of new tools and models
- Develop recommendations for pilots, proofs of concept, and broader adoption
- Support the design and execution of technology pilots and structured experiments
- Partner with AI Platform & Engineering teams to transition successful pilots into deployment pathways
- Document findings, lessons learned, and reusable assessment frameworks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including AI Platform & Engineering, Knowledge Engineering, and business stakeholders
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable business insights
- Identify risks related to security, privacy, compliance, and Responsible AI
- Create and share insights, trends, and best practices across Digital Technology
What You’ll Need To Be Successful.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 3–6 years of experience in technology, innovation, or digital transformation roles
- Strong knowledge of emerging AI technologies, models, and agentic platforms
- Experience supporting pilots, evaluations, or early-stage technology implementations
- Ability to assess technical concepts and communicate them in business-friendly terms
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Experience in enterprise or regulated environments is a plus
