NVA Canada, through the Animal Emergency Clinic of the Fraser Valley (AECFV), is seeking an experienced Emergency Veterinarian to join its team in Langley, BC. This is an exciting opportunity to work in one of Canada’s most well-respected and long-established emergency practices, located in the scenic Lower Mainland of British Columbia—ideal for individuals who enjoy an active lifestyle paired with access to big city amenities.

AECFV has been serving the community for over 27 years and is an AAHA-accredited 24-hour emergency facility, providing emergency care for more than 100 referring general practices. The clinic also manages one of the largest veterinary blood banks in Canada, ensuring access to blood products across BC. The hospital spans 8,000 sq. ft. and is equipped with advanced facilities, allowing veterinarians to perform emergency surgeries, endoscopy, ultrasound, and CT procedures. A board-certified Internist will also be joining the team in summer 2025.

In this role, you will handle a diverse caseload and provide high-quality emergency veterinary care. Responsibilities include performing emergency surgeries, diagnosing complex cases, managing critical patients, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure optimal outcomes. Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3+ years of emergency veterinary experience

• Proven expertise in performing emergency surgery

• Candidates must hold full unrestricted licensing (mentorship or restricted licenses are not available for this role)
