Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and evaluate complex engineering problems in fields such as electrical, mechanical, civil, chemical, materials, and systems engineering, ensuring precision, clarity, and technical rigor.

  • Review and assess AI-generated responses for conceptual soundness, mathematical validity, and engineering accuracy.

  • Provide structured written feedback on technical problem sets, designs, solutions, and analytical reasoning to improve AI performance and output quality.

  • Collaborate asynchronously with engineers and AI researchers to refine training datasets, algorithms, and evaluation models.

  • Ensure academic and scientific integrity, maintaining the highest standards of technical accuracy in all content used to train AI systems.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • PhD in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, Materials, Aerospace, Systems, or a related field) from a top-tier university.

  • 2+ years of professional or academic experience (teaching, research, publication, or technical engineering role).

  • Deep expertise in core engineering and mathematical principles, including problem-solving, modeling, and applied computation.

  • Exceptional analytical thinking and attention to technical detail.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for precise documentation and peer collaboration.

  • Ability to work independently and asynchronously in a fully remote, international research setting.

Preferred:

  • Experience in AI systems, model validation, or data analysis.

  • Previous experience with cross-disciplinary engineering projects involving software or automation.


Engagement Details:

  • Type: Independent Contractor

  • Compensation: $70–$90 per hour

  • Duration: 1–2 months (with potential extension based on project requirements)

  • Commitment: 20–40 hours per week

  • Location: Fully Remote

  • Start Date: Immediate

  • Payment: Daily via Stripe Connect
