Description:
Reporting to the Curator, the EPPC’s primary responsibilities are to:
-Review and Revise Program and Event Policies
-Develop and Implement 2025/26 Program and Event Schedule
-Market Programs and Events
-Deliver Museum Programs
-Collect and Analyze Participant Evaluations
The ideal candidate:
-holds a post-secondary degree in programming, museum studies, history, education, cultural studies, or a related field
-brings exciting ideas to the table for programming improvements
-has an interest working in the heritage sector or in museums
-is responsible, organized and self-motivated
-conducts themselves in a professional manner
-has reliable means of transportation
-has experience with Canva or other marketing asset creation software(s)
** Experience in teaching, educational planning, museum research, event management, or public/educational programming will be considered an asset
Beachville is situated in the Thames River Valley between Ingersoll and Woodstock, just thirty (30) minutes east of London. The village originally developed around the limestone industry and the railroad, and became a central hub of Oxford County. Beachville District Museum is supported through a joint funding agreement between Zorra Township, South-West Oxford Township and the Beachville District Historical Society.
