Specsavers Conestoga Mall is seeking a dedicated Associate Optometrist to join their independently owned and operated clinic in Waterloo, Ontario. Specsavers, the world’s largest privately owned optical retailer, is committed to making high-quality eyecare accessible to everyone. With advanced diagnostic technology and strong clinical support, you will have the tools and autonomy to deliver exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive eye examinations using advanced clinical equipment

• Review pre-test results provided by trained eyecare consultants

• Deliver high-quality patient consultations with emphasis on eye health and preventable vision loss

• Maintain clinical excellence and autonomy within a private, independent clinic

• Contribute to a supportive, community-focused eyecare environment

• Collaborate with clinic owners, teams, and Specsavers support consultants

• Stay current on best practices through available professional development resources

Qualifications:

• Must be a registered optometrist in the Province of Ontario

• Strong commitment to exceptional patient care

• Adaptable, ethical, and dedicated to clinical excellence

• Ability to work collaboratively within a professional eyecare team

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to provide care using advanced diagnostic tools including:

  • NIDEK Tonoref 3

  • NIDEK automated lensometer

  • Topcon Maestro2

  • NIDEK RT-6100 refractor

  • NIDEK SL-1800 slit lamp

  • Zeiss HFA3 with SITA Faster visual field

• Willingness to work within a fully integrated clinic environment

• No travel required outside clinic duties
