Description:

GFL Environmental is seeking a Class 3 Driver to join the Residential Collection Team in Coquitlam, BC. This role is essential in maintaining clean, safe, and environmentally responsible communities. The driver will operate a Class 3 vehicle to collect waste and recycling along designated residential routes, adhering to safety standards and providing professional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a Class 3 truck for residential waste and recycling collection.

• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.

• Safely load, unload, and collect materials while maintaining accurate route completion.

• Deliver excellent customer service and represent GFL professionally.

• Follow all safety, operational, and compliance procedures.

Qualifications:

• Valid Class 3 Driver’s License with a clean driving abstract.

• Air Brake Endorsement required.

• Previous waste industry or commercial driving experience is an asset.

• Strong safety focus and teamwork orientation.

• Physically capable of working outdoors and performing repetitive lifting.
