Nootka Marine Adventures is inviting enthusiastic and service-oriented individuals to apply for the role of Dockhand at their beautiful Moutcha Bay Resort in Tahsis, BC. This full-time, on-site role runs from now until mid-September, ideal for those seeking an immersive experience in marine tourism and sport fishing hospitality. Located approximately two hours from Campbell River, the resort provides an unbeatable work environment surrounded by nature, adventure, and a community of passionate team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare rental boats with all required safety and fishing gear

• Move boats between fuel dock and parking slips

• Assist guests with boat fueling and safety briefings

• Greet guests warmly and help carry personal belongings

• Ensure an outstanding and safe guest experience on the dock

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills

• Friendly and outgoing demeanor

• Basic knowledge of marine operations and saltwater fishing

• Understanding of fishing tackle and its uses

• Experience with cash handling

• Valid PCOC (Pleasure Craft Operator’s Card) required
