Director, Outreach

Description:

As the Director of Outreach, you will establish and strengthen relationships and partnerships between government, and external communities (e.g., other public jurisdictions, publicly funded organizations, post-secondary institutions, vendors, and international digital communities), which contributes to cross-jurisdictional collaborations, economic opportunities / investment, adds to leading and best practices for all citizens, and attracts digital innovation and skills to Alberta. This includes leading the marketing and communications to these diverse stakeholders to promote and build awareness of Alberta's digital transformation and progress in developing services from an end-user and agile perspective.
Your responsibilities include:

• Developing an Outreach Strategy to shape the way government reaches and engages multiple, diverse external stakeholder groups.
• Leading the team to provide effective Outreach Delivery to communicate the GoA digital culture and modern digital services, capabilities, and best practices.
• Provisioning of secretariat services for external Digital Advisory Board and similar boards as needed.
• Leading the team to provide advice and recommendations for continual improvement and enabling the effective transition to the digital service delivery methodology.
