Lynwood Charlton Centre (LCC) is seeking an experienced and strategic professional for the position of Director of Quality, Evaluation, and Compliance. This critical leadership role offers the opportunity to shape the future of innovative mental health programs for children and youth across the Greater Hamilton Area. As a publicly funded charitable organization, LCC provides residential, day treatment, in-home, and community-based services to children, youth, and families. As the Lead Agency for the Hamilton region under Ontario’s Moving on Mental Health initiative, LCC is dedicated to service excellence and system transformation.
The Director of Quality, Evaluation, and Compliance (DQEC) will report to the senior leadership team and drive organization-wide initiatives in quality improvement, compliance monitoring, program evaluation, research leadership, and internal staff development. This position requires a combination of data-driven decision-making, strategic leadership, regulatory knowledge, and a strong commitment to equity and client-centered care.
1. Quality Assurance and Compliance
Design and implement agency-wide quality assurance and continuous improvement frameworks
Monitor and ensure compliance with provincial regulations, accreditation standards, and ethical requirements
Lead policy and procedure development in relation to compliance
Train and support program managers on data collection requirements and system implementation
Integrate client outcome measures into Electronic Health Records (EHR) and clinical workflows
Utilize evidence-based tools and key performance indicators to monitor service effectiveness and clinical progress
Lead CQI initiatives and partner with program leadership to improve service outcomes
2. Program Evaluation and Outcome Measurement
Collaborate with leadership to determine strategic evaluation needs
Lead mixed-method evaluation processes including qualitative and quantitative techniques
Utilize EHR systems and tools such as Power BI, SPSS, and Excel for data analysis
Develop a Client Service Dashboard to share insights with stakeholders
Translate evaluation findings into service improvements and equity-focused initiatives
3. Training and Development
Coordinate and oversee staff training programs including quarterly cultural responsiveness and annual training weeks
Design internal and external training offerings to strengthen organizational capacity
Develop learning tools in partnership with the board and leadership
Offer training to external stakeholders including schools and healthcare agencies
4. Research Leadership
Lead organization’s research strategy and foster academic and community research partnerships
Oversee grant writing and dissemination of research findings
Align research outputs with the organization’s goals and transparency commitments
Education:
Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Public Health, Health Administration, Program Evaluation, or MScHQ (Health Quality)
Allied health professionals such as nurses, physiotherapists, or occupational therapists are encouraged to apply
Skills and Tools:
High proficiency with evaluation tools, data analysis software (Power BI, SPSS, Excel), and EHR systems
Strong strategic planning and project management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills tailored to varied audiences
Demonstrated ability to lead through collaboration and foster a culture of learning and equity
Target salary of $90,000 annually / $7500 monthly
